Edit a Customer Category Any changes you make to a customer category will affect all customers assigned to the category. Price Contracts added to the category will apply to all customers assigned to the category, and pricing will be used on their orders going forward, based on the Effective Date of the contract. Adding a Price Contract to a Customer Category will not affect any orders that have already been entered for those customers. 1.Select File > Customer > Category. 2.Enter the customer category number in the Customer Category field and press Tab, or use the to search for the correct code. 3.Click the Edit button in the bottom right corner. This will open the customer category for editing. 4.Make the necessary changes to the customer category. 5.Add a Price Contract to the category by clicking on the Contract tab, and entering the contract number or description in the Contract field. You can also use the to search for the correct code. Enter as many Price Contracts as necessary. An example is shown below. 6.When you have completed your changes, click the Save button in the bottom toolbar to save the changes to the category. |
