Keyboard Shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts can help you save time by allowing you to navigate the system using only your keyboard, instead of reaching over for the mouse.

 

Inform's shortcuts rely on the Alt key, and allow you to navigate as well as "click" buttons like Save and New. To view the available shortcut options, press the Alt key on your keyboard. Letters in the buttons on your screen, and in the main header menu will become underlined. Then press that letter key to select the option.

 

For example, pressing Alt then "o" will open the Warehouse menu on the main screen. You can then use the arrow keys and the Enter key to select the correct option.

From the main screen:

Switching Between Open Windows:

Hold the Ctrl button down and press Tab. Each time you press Tab, the system will switch to a different open window.
