Setting up your Customer Reward Program involves assigning Co-op Percents to customers and products that will be used each time the customer purchases the item.
Setting Co-op Percents for Customers Assigning a Co-op Percent to a customer will automatically calculate that dollar amount for all products that are labeled as "Co-op Eligible" (see the Products section of this page for details). This default percent can be overridden by percents set for individual products, groups of products, or groups of customers in the Price Matrix.
You may also want to obtain an email address for the customer, as you can notify them of their points balance via email on a regular basis.
1.Starting from the main screen, select File > Customer > Master.
2.Enter the customer in the Customer Number and press Tab.
3.Click the Edit button in the bottom toolbar, then click on the General tab.
4.In the center area of the tab, under the "Sales Order/Invoice Options" section, there is a Co-op Percent field. Enter the percent that will be applied to all Co-op Eligible products.
5.Finally, click the Save button to save the changes to the customer.
If you would like to set Co-op Percents for multiple customers at once, you can use the Customer Mass Change option.
Setting Co-op Percents for Products Co-op percents can only be set for products that are marked as "Co-op Eligible" (Product Master > General tab). If you set a percent for a group of products, it will only apply to those marked "Co-op Eligible". Note: If you are using Last Price Paid in your Sales Orders, the Price Matrix needs to be set to override this in order for Co-op percents to be set on the product level. In the Company Master, if your "Dflt Customer Last Price Paid in S/O" field is set to Y, then your "Price Matrix Overrides Last Price Paid" field must be set to Y. This does not need to be set if you are only using Co-op Percents on the Customer level.
1.Starting from the main screen, select Sales > Pricing > Price Matrix.
2.Enter the Product, Price Group, or Product Line that you want to set a percent for. You can also select a Customer, Customer Category, or Contract to apply the percent to. Once you have selected the appropriate options, click the Search button.
3.Double-click on the combination in the window below, then click the Edit button in the Price Matrix Entry window. Enter the correct percent in the Co-op % field below the formula window. Then click the Save button to save the percent.
Setting the Co-op Percent to Display in Sales Order Entry This will display the Co-Op Percent in a column on the Sales Order entry screen. This information will not print on the customer's Sales Order, Shipment Confirmation, or Invoice.
1.Starting from the main screen, select Sales > Order > Sales Order.
2.Click on the Detail tab, then click on the Display Columns tab.
3.Scroll all the way to the right and check the box above "Coop %". You can adjust where this column displays using the arrows in the lower left corner. Finally, click the Set For User button to set this column arrangement for your account. |
