Copying a Sales Order allows you to bring all of the products and quantities over to a new Sales Order. You also have the option to copy prices, costs and notes to the new order. Price Quotes can also be copied using the same procedure.
If you are copying a return order, you will need the proper permissions to complete the copy.
To copy a Sales Order follow the easy steps below. Before beginning, you will need the order number of the order or quote that you want to copy to a new order.
1.Select Sales > Order > Sales Order.
2.Enter the Header information for the new order (Customer, Ship To, etc.), then click on the Detail tab.
3.Right-click on the empty Product field and select Copy Order.
4.In the window, enter the number of the Sales Order or Price Quote that you want to copy and press Tab. You can also use the 
to search for the correct order. You can also choose to copy the Prices, Costs, External and Internal Notes with the products by checking off the options.
5.When you have selected all of the necessary options, click the OK button. The products from the copied Sales Order will appear in your new order. You can still make changes to quantities, prices, costs, and comments.
6.Continue to enter any additional information for the Sales Order, then click the Save button in the bottom toolbar to save the order.
