Suspend an Invoice

To suspend an invoice follow the easy steps below. You can also suspend invoices through the Sales Order screen. If at any point in this process you receive a message saying that you do not have the proper access level, you will need to contact a supervisor to suspend the invoice.

 

1.Starting from the main screen, select Sales > Invoice > Invoicing.

 

2.Under the Selection Criteria tab, enter the Branch, Customer, or Salesman pertaining to the invoice that you want to suspend.

 

3.Click the Search button in the bottom toolbar. This will bring you to the Invoice Preview tab and display the invoices that match your search criteria. If you do not see the invoice that you would like to suspend, go back to the Selection Criteria tab and try using different search criteria.

 

4.Locate the invoice in the window, then check the Susp box for the invoice. The invoice will turn red and will not print with the rest of your invoices. An example is shown below.

5.If you are not planning to print your invoices now, you can simply click the Exit button in the bottom toolbar to close the window. The invoice will remain suspended until you uncheck the box.
