Setting Web Permissions

Web Permissions apply only to Inform e-commerce and control what the user can access when they log into your e-commerce site. E-commerce Usernames and Passwords are contact-specific, which allows you to setup multiple users for each company. Each user must have a valid email address entered so that they can receive order confirmations.

If you are setting a Username and Password that the customer's entire company will use, you may want to create a separate contact with a separate email address for this purpose.

Creating an Inform e-commerce User

1.Select File > Customer > Master.

2.Enter the customer number or name in the Customer Number field and press Tab.

3.Click on the Contacts tab, then click on the name of the contact that will have access to your Inform eCommerce site. This contact should have a verified email address entered.

4.Click the Edit button in the bottom right corner of the Customer Contact window, then click the Web Permissions tab at the bottom of the window.
