Loaded Cost: Updating Prices - Product Master

Updating prices through the Product Master is useful when you only have a few prices to update, as you will need to open the Product Master for each individual product that needs to be updated. If you have a significant number of products that you need to update, it may be more efficient to use the Product Mass Change screen or the Product Import screen.

 

To update prices through the Product Master follow the easy steps below. The new prices will take affect as soon as you save the update.

 

1.Starting from the main screen, select File from the main menu bar, then select Product from the drop down menu, and finally select Master from the slide out menu.

 

2.Enter the reference code for the product in the Product Number field and press Tab. You can also use the to search for the correct product.

 

3.Click the Edit button in the bottom toolbar to open the product for editing.

 

4.Enter the new cost amounts in the appropriate fields. The date to the right of the new cost will change to the current date.

Note: You can also click on the Price Rollup Schedule button to view any price rollup formulas that apply to this product. You can also edit

 

5.When you have entered all of the new cost amounts, click the Save button in the bottom toolbar to save your updates.

 

Repeat these steps until you have updated all of the necessary products.
