Make Commission Adjustments

In the event that you need to adjust a Salesman's Commission, you can do so in the Salesman Commissions Matrix. This will add or subtract an amount from the salesman's commission for the appropriate date period.

 

Make a Commission Adjustment

If you make a mistake, you can remove the commission adjustment before the commission statements are printed. The adjustment amount and the reason for the adjustment will print on the salesperson's statement.

 

1.Select Sales > Salesman Commissions > Salesman Commissions Matrix.

2.Enter the reference code for the salesman in the Salesman  field and press Tab. You can also use the to search for the correct salesman.

3.Click on the Setup tab, then the Commissions tab at the bottom of the window. Then, click on the Adjustments tab.

4.Click the Edit button in the bottom right corner, then click the Add Adjustment button.

5.Select the date that you want the commission to take affect in the Date field. Your user initials will automatically be entered in the User field. This cannot be changed.

6.Enter the dollar amount that will be added to or subtracted from the salesman's commission in the Amount field. For subtracted amounts, be sure to place a negative sign in front of the amount.

7.Now, enter the reason for the adjustment in the Reason field. If you have multiple adjustments to add, press the Tab key to create the next adjustment line.

8.When you have completed the adjustments, click the Save button. An example of a completed adjustment is shown below.
