Sales Order: Entering a Pick Up Order

To enter an order for pick up follow the easy steps below. Then, when the customer comes in to pick up, follow the steps to complete the order.

 

1.Starting from the main screen, select Sales > Order > Sales Order.

 

2.This will open the Sales Order Entry screen. Enter a Customer reference number in the Customer field and press Tab, or click the to search for the appropriate customer.

 

3.The system will automatically enter the customer's default information into the Ship To, Salesman, Terms, and Tax Code fields. Please verify that this information is pertinent to the current order before continuing.

 

4.In the Ship Via field, enter the appropriate reference code for a pick-up order.

 

5.Click the Detail tab. Under the Line Items tab, you can enter the product(s) that the customer would like to order.

 

6.To enter a product, click in the Product cell of the blank row in the window. Enter the Product reference number and press Tab, or click the to search for the appropriate product.

 

7.Now enter the quantity in the Quant Ordered field and press Tab.

 

8.When you have entered all of the necessary products, click the Save button to save the order.

 

When the Customer picks up the order - if they are paying

 

1.Open the Sales Order by entering the order number in the Order Number field and pressing Tab.

 

2.When the order is pulled up, click the Edit button in the bottom toolbar.

 

3.Now click the Final tab, and check the Cash Sale Order box. Enter the amount that the customer is paying in the Cash Tendered field and press Tab. Use the drop down menu in the Payment Type field to select the payment method, and enter check information or the credit card type in the Check #/CC Type field.

 

4.Click Save in the bottom toolbar to save the completed order, then click the P.O.S. Invoice button to print a receipt for the customer.

 

When the Customer picks up the order - if you are sending them an invoice

 

1.Open the Sales Order by entering the order number in the Order Number field and pressing Tab.

 

2.Check the order over, add any last minute products or substitutes, then click on the Final tab and click the Ship Conf button.

 

3.In the Shipment Confirmation screen, enter the initials of the person who picked the order in the Picked By field and press Tab.

 

4.Now enter the quantity of each product that the customer is taking at this time. If they are taking the complete order, you can click the Ship All button in the bottom toolbar to ship the entire order.

 

5.Click the Save button in the bottom toolbar. If you have a signature device attached, the system will prompt you for a signature. Then, print the Shipping Confirmation to give to your customer as a receipt.
