Price Contracts are a means of setting pricing and costing for a set group of customers. Contracts can be linked to specific vendors for rebate or tracking purposes, and can be applied to all customers, as well as a select group of customers. Once the contract is created, you can set the prices and formulas for the contract by clicking on the Pricing tab.
Depending on how your system is set up, contract pricing may be overridden by other prices or costs entered in the system for customers. When a contract item is added to a Sales Order, a notification will appear below the item indicating the price and/or cost contract that it being used for the item (shown below). It will also appear if the contract has recently expired.
For Rebate Cost Contracts, you have the option to add a loaded to the rebate cost for your salesmen to view when they enter a Sales Order. For more information, see the Loaded Rebate Costs page. |
