Price Matrix

The Price Matrix is a collection of formulas set to calculate the price of a product based on different purchasing scenarios. You can go back and change these formulas at any time, provided you have the correct access level. For example, if you want all contractors to pay 10% less than the list price each time they purchase a product from your Cabinets product line, you can set the formula so that the price will be  calculated automatically when a sales order or sales quote is generated.

Below you will notice several pricing scenarios that may be used in the price matrix. Click on any of the scenarios to view step-by-step instructions for entering the appropriate formula into the matrix. As these scenarios are very specific, you can also click to view general instructions for entering, editing, or deleting a formula.

Net Pricing can also be accommodated through the Price Matrix for Customers, Contracts and Vendors with contracts. For more information see the Enter a Net Price page.

See the Enter a Future Price Formula/Net Price page for information on entering future pricing before the effective date.
